How to Do Balayage at Home (It's Easier Than You Think)
Did you know that highlights are the #1 service requested in salons? We did. Which is why we created Light Works™ Balayage Highlighting Kit—because we thought it was about time women were able to give themselves salon-quality, natural-looking balayage highlights for less money, and in the comfort and convenience of their own home.
Think you can’t do it yourself in your own home? Think again. Sure, Light Works pairs salon-secret formulas with a revolutionary 2-step process previously only available at the salon, but we did a lot of user testing, revising and perfecting to make sure Light Works is easy enough for you to do balayage highlights at home. Just you, a couple of old towels and a better way to highlight.

We even created a step-by-step video showing you how to apply Light Works and get absolutely gorgeous highlights at home.

YOU GOT THIS!
When first doing balayage at home, we recommend starting with 3-4 pieces until you start to feel more confident. Then just add more as you get more comfortable and fall in love with the look. Another great way to start is to just do bottom layers first as a test. Pin up the front crown portion of your hair and apply your balayage highlights underneath for a less noticeable look.
